My Ethos

Forest schools are those that draw from nature, use the forest environment. I use nature surrounding us, as a universal teaching aid, both in educational and upbringing - being in nature and in a large space has an extremely soothing effect, supports group building. In all my activities I attach the highest importance to flexibility and the ability to adapt to needs of my participants . If any of my participants are currently fed up with certain activities, or are absorbed in something else, I make it possible for them to follow their own interests.

I understand that each person is unique, has their own needs and learning style. That is why I work with different age groups, in the form of six or ten week programs. Workshops for children and parents to help rebuild relationships and spend more time together. I will lead carefully designed forest programs, aimed at children, as well as courses in tool safety, fire safety, woodworking, building shelters, identifying flora and fauna, tracking animals, focusing on well-being, grounding exercise, mindfulness. These courses will give participants the opportunity to express themselves in a caring, relaxed and supportive environment.

Who is the forest school for?

For every child or adult who want to connect with Nature! Working outside the box requires special readiness, understanding, acceptance and trust. Especially when we talk about the fact that everyone has the right to take challenges and risks, that they are competent to make their own choices and manage their own learning and development process. Innovation is difficult because it undermines what we take for granted - and we take traditional schools for granted. Forest School is a place that respects everyone individuality and needs. I agree with the ideas behind it, and I try to prepare my participants through practice to focus on themselves and their needs, away from criticism.

My vision and guiding principle

My vision is based on informed, controlled risk-taking for the sustainable and creative development of my participants. An integrated community is at the heart of everything I do and my ethos is rooted in the belief that risk-taking and independent learning are essential for the healthy development of the participants I work with. Building a connection between participants and the natural world is very important to me and promotes holistic learning. I support my participants in becoming wise, creative, independent, confident, mentally resilient and empathetic people who care for each other and the environment around them.

Wolf Cubs Forest Adventures provides participants with the opportunity to take controlled risks, adapted to the environment and participants, in safe, inclusive Forest School environment, where I use a wide range of student-centre activities. I create an excellent environment for development and learning. Supporting learning in acquiring knowledge, skills, courage, achievement, self-confidence, ability and empathy. I spend most of my time outdoors, working with people of all ages and abilities. We are creating a community where there is mutual concern for participants and the surrounding environment.
